I have this horrible feeling that I missed out on celebrating Christmas in July. Is it even a real holiday? It’s not, right? Still… I didn’t watch any Hallmark Original Christmas movies, and I haven’t bought a single Christmas gift for anyone, and stashed it up in the attic smugly. Thankfully the place where we are going camping next week is celebrating Christmas, so I won’t be missing out entirely. When we found this out, hubby made it very clear to me that I cannot buy decorations for the trailer. I took that as, I can buy a few decorations for the trailer. Compromise! Maybe I need to get the jigsaw out and make a few reindeer.

That’s how she found herself stumbling off a train in England’s picturesque Peak District – 150 miles from home, with no idea why she’d gone there and even less idea how she intended to get home.

As Daisy explores the gorgeous village of Upper Finlay, she glimpses the possibility of a different life.
