How is it possible that a week or so ago I spent three hours in the garden, filled up a yard waste bin, only to fill up another yard waste bin again yesterday!? My yard isn’t even that big, but that’s exactly what I did. The sun came out, the x-carve machine was making more trivets for me, and a few flowers needed to be cut back. So what started out as just trimming a few flowers back turned into a full blown backyard cleanup. When I was a kid I would have hated the chore of cleaning up all the dead leaves in the yard. I would have been fussing and grumbling under my breath the whole time. Now I feel like it soothes my mind, plus I have such a feeling of accomplishment when I am done. Poor hubby. All he sees is me out there filling up the bin, so I can replace the space with fresh plants.  That clearance rack of plants ain’t gonna sell itself  Bubby!!
