Hubby fell the other day and knocked over a stand full of treasured plants I had collected. It was quite a noise and a shock seeing him fly across the deck like that. Apparently he was trying to take off his shoe and walk at the same time. Obviously it did not go well for him. I didn’t even register that he fell before I was up and running to him. Strange how your body will react before your brain figures out what is happening. Thankfully he was okay and got right back up. I didn’t quite believe him so I checked all his limbs, fingers, and head a few times. He checked out okay… I guess. My plants on the other hand did not fair so well. Leaves I had been nurturing for months destroyed, dirt and roots scattered everywhere. Broken pots were thrown across the deck. As I looked at the carnage I realized I just didn’t care. Odd. I thought they were my treasures. I worked hard to grow them. Hubby had dirt on his head. How did that even happen? I love my hubby.
