I don’t have nearly enough worms in my garden as I would like to have. In some areas I actually have no worms. Which seems a bit concerning. By the way, this is where I am at in life, complaining I don’t have enough worms. For the past month or so I have been working hard in the garden getting rid of plants that are old and woody, cutting back a lot of very overgrown plants, and just cleaning up in general. I am finding it interesting that some areas that I thought would be teeming with life are actually pretty desolate. Have I made my garden too clean? I don’t use pesticides, so no worries there. What an odd thought. Do you think it would be weird to ask my neighbors to borrow a cup of worms?

A missing heiress. A brutal murder. An FBI agent chasing a truth no one wants brought to light.
After a forced leave that nearly cracked her confidence, FBI Special Agent Domini Walker is handed what should be a straightforward assignment: locate Hettie Van Buren, a high-society heiress who vanished during a weekend away. But then Hettie’s boyfriend turns up dead — single shot, no mistakes. The work of a professional.
Dom’s search spirals quickly into a far darker mystery. Hettie is still out there: frightened, alone, and orbiting a secret someone’s already killed to protect. The Van Buren family’s wealth can’t keep the past buried, and Hettie and Micah’s clandestine trip overseas may hold the truth someone in power is desperate to keep buried. Dom’s not the type to flinch. Not for Bureau optics, not for Manhattan royalty. This case cuts too close, rattling the trauma she’s spent years mastering and testing a moral code forged in loss.
With razor-sharp analyst Lea Peck and reclusive researcher Mila Pascale at her side, Dom tracks a trail of blood and lies from penthouse privilege to the streets of Tegucigalpa. But in a world where everyone has something to protect, the deadliest threat may be the one she never sees coming.

From that egg hatches Crimson — a dragon of myth and memory, a creature who speaks not in words but in feelings, and who understands Henry in a way no human ever has. Together, they flee the city under cover of fog, soaring north through war-torn England in search of freedom, safety, and belonging.
But the world is watching. Whispers of a dragon reach Westminster, and soon, powerful eyes turn toward the skies. With war looming and loyalty tested, Henry must decide who he is willing to trust — and how far he will go to protect the only family he has left.
