A bit of relief washed over me when I realized that if I owned a dragon it is very convenient that I live by the coast. I could just send it there to do it’s business. Otherwise I would have to find another way to dispose of dragon poop. Yaaa… you don’t see that issue popping up in the movies.

Falling in love with Daniel Evans is not in Mac’s lesson plan, but can she ignore how beautifully their stories intertwine?
Mackenzie Milcrest is a high school English teacher. She’s comfortable with her job, her life, and her place in the world. The only thing she loves more than her students is a good book and a quiet night alone to cozy up and read. She’s happy…
Or, at least, she thinks she is.
Daniel Evans is a world-famous writer — and for good reason. Over ten years ago, when he was still a teenager, his first book became a runaway hit, and readers have not stopped asking for more ever since. Now, a decade later, he’s rich. Charming. Handsome…
He’s also suffering from a massive writer’s block.
Desperate to shake things up, Daniel employs the help of his publisher, who only has to pull a couple of strings to get him a front-row seat to his next novel’s setting: a public high school.
All he has to do is sit in Mac’s classroom every day and shadow her every move.
Strictly in the name of research, of course.
The problem is, Mac can’t keep acting like he’s invisible. Not when the pull he has on her grows stronger every second.

When the dragon chooses her, there’s no going back.
Sixteen-year-old Nova Harris has spent her life drifting between foster homes, clinging to a single link to her past: a strange dragon-shaped pendant, the last gift from the mother who vanished without a trace. She’s long given up hope of finding answers — until a living, breathing dragon crashes into her world.
Whisked through a portal alongside her fiercely loyal best friend Zephyr, Nova arrives in Ragond — a realm of spellbound forests, skyborne citadels, and ancient magic. Though she has no memory of this place, Ragond remembers her. Her name carries weight. Her family, power. And when she’s invited to compete in the legendary dragon rider trials — and Zephyr in the fiercely competitive witch trials — they realize their arrival was no accident.
But magic makes enemies, and not everyone welcomes the return of their bloodline. As political tensions crackle and factions plot in the shadows, Nova and Zephyr uncover a secret hidden even from the realm’s most powerful: twin dragons, thought to be a myth — and a bond that could change everything.
Now, Nova must make an impossible choice: follow the trail that might lead to her lost mother, or stand and fight for a land that may be her true home. One path holds the key to her past. The other could spark an inter-dimensional war.
