I took my sweet angels Junebug and Casper to the groomers yesterday to get their nails trimmed. I watched Casper and the groomer through the window in the waiting area with Junebug by my side waiting her turn. The first thing Casper did when the groomer took him to the back was spray him. It wasn’t pee or poo… it was much worse. Then the poor guy tried to gently, calmly, and with sweet words to pick him up to put him on the grooming table. Casper delivered the exact opposite to him. I am pretty sure he called the groomer a nasty name and did about 3 or 4 back flips. A second groomer was called in to help. Deep breaths were taken, more calming words with soft pets. Casper was having none of it. Clip! One toe done. A third groomer was called in. The amount of patience and stamina these groomers had was amazing. In the end the first groomer came out, sweat pouring down his face with a huge smile, and handed Casper to me. That twerp was looking like a sweet little angel that didn’t just terrorize those poor people. I then handed him Junebug and assured him she was much easier. My sweet Junebug was calm and still, and I have never seen a groomer more relieved. When he returned her to me I gave him a big tip. Please let me come back.

“SHOCKING… TERRIFYING” — Entertainment Weekly
In 1954, at the height of the Cold War, the Soviet military promised four political prisoners their freedom — if they could endure an experiment designed to keep them awake for fourteen days using a powerful stimulant gas. As the days stretched on, their minds unraveled, descending into madness, self-mutilation, and murder.
None survived.
Now, in 2018, Dr. Roy Wallis, a renowned psychology professor at UC Berkeley, is determined to recreate the experiment. With two student assistants, he monitors a group of young Australian test subjects in a soon-to-be-demolished campus building. They take turns watching over them in eight-hour shifts, believing they are in control.
But what starts as an academic study quickly spirals into a waking nightmare — one that no one, except perhaps Dr. Wallis himself, could have foreseen.

There are few places on Earth that have as much hustle and bustle as New York City, so it’s no surprise that people nearby flock to some sort of escape. For many, that escape comes in the form of Brooklyn’s Coney Island, which has been one of the area’s most popular seaside resorts and amusement park areas since the late 19th century. People may come for different things, such as the festivities held there on July 4th (most notably the hot dog eating contest), the newest rollercoaster, or a minor league baseball game, but just about everyone is sure to have a good time.
