Today is the final day of school. Not just the last day, but the final day of school. Okay… college is the next step and technically it is school, but for dramatic effect, lets just put that fact aside. 13 YEARS OF SCHOOLING HAS COME TO AN END! I am not counting preschool. I loved the baby bassets preschool though. They were so wonderful with the boys and taught them so much. We should include preschool. I’ll start over.. 14 YEARS OF SCHOOLING HAS COME TO AN END! I feel like I should be more emotional about my youngest baby basset graduating from high school, but right now I am just concerned with getting a seat at graduation. It starts at 11am on Saturday, but I heard of people showing up at 9am just to get a good seat. UGH! I hate the crazy fight for good seats. I think once I get there and get my seat, I can start getting emotional. Probably won’t though since it will be so hot I will need to conserve any and all hydration. There is just too much going on with all of this. I’m just going to get my second cup of coffee and watch videos with talking dogs.

But this case could make — or break — him.
Born in the backstreets of gritty London, Ratso rose through the ranks on raw instinct and ruthless determination. Now he’s been handed his biggest assignment yet: take down Boris Zandro, an international drug lord tied to a dozen brutal murders and protected by a shadow network that spans continents.
With a massive shipment on the move and no idea who’s pulling strings behind the scenes, Ratso’s hunt takes him deep into the criminal underworld — from London to the U.S. — where every lead could be a trap.
His only ally? Florida detective Kirsty-Ann Webber — fierce, grieving, and just as dangerous.
Ratso doesn’t trust easy. And he doesn’t get distracted.
Until now.

Cities are in ruins, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu. To survive, Jeremiah will need his wits, a little bit of luck, and lots of ammo.
Before Deadbreak — the day three years ago when the dead rose from their graves — the idea of spending my days outrunning animated corpses and contemplating how to properly season rodents wasn’t exactly on my radar. But here we are. The world has turned upside down, and I’ve had to learn new skills. Archery. Looting. Melee combat against bandits and the occasional cannibal. Most of the meaningful conversations I have are with my dog. Don’t judge. It sure beats chatting up your neighbor when he’s missing his tongue and cerebellum is his staple food. Somehow, through a combination of blind luck and a strong desire to give the zombie apocalypse the finger, I’ve survived this long. My goal is to make it to the Pacific coast, find my daughter, and create some semblance of a new life. Minus that middle finger. Pretty sure someone’s eaten it by now.

Don’t Take the Girl (Rival Hearts)
by L.A. Ferro
(1,561 Reviews)
FREE for a limited time
At ten, I was the unwanted tagalong on London Hale’s fishing trip — the fatherless girl next door he resented having to include. But all it took was one hot Texas summer afternoon of fishing to change everything.
At sixteen, he saved my life, and then he kissed me. The star quarterback and the quiet outsider, we defied every small-town stereotype as we fell hopelessly in love. By eighteen, we had our futures mapped out together until four desperate words shattered everything.
“Don’t take the girl.”
With those words, my world collapsed, and London disappeared from my life.
Six years later, I’m starting fresh at my best friend’s ranch, healing among horses instead of people, until I discover that the rival rancher next door is none other than London Hale. The boy I loved. The man who should be in prison.
He wants me gone, and I understand why. His sacrifice cost him everything. But I never asked him to save me, not the first time or the second.
Sharing another small town with him isn’t going to be easy, but I’m not going anywhere. I need this job, and besides — it’s temporary. At the end of the summer, I’ll have my certification, and I’ll leave just as he asked me to.
But when I uncover the truth behind that fateful night and why London never went to jail, I realize our story wasn’t finished at eighteen — it’s been waiting here all along.
Some chapters aren’t meant to be closed. Sometimes, the most beautiful stories are the ones brave enough to try again.

The Posse and the Gunfighter – with Doc Holliday (The Gunfighter & The Gambler – Doc Holliday Book 1)
by Wyatt Steele
(286 Reviews)
FREE for a limited time
One gambler with nothing left to lose. One gunfighter trying not to be found. A stagecoach robbery that pulls them both into a blood trail of revenge.
Sabinal was just another dusty town — a stopover for drifters, showfolk, and the dying. Nash wasn’t looking for trouble when he took a job hauling crates for a traveling troupe. He just wanted to keep his head down and his past buried. But when a high-stakes Faro game pits a sickly, sharp-tongued gambler named Doc Holliday against a ruthless saloon owner, trouble finds him anyway.
After Doc calls the wrong bluff and the guns nearly come out, a telegram arrives that changes everything — and saves their lives. But Sabinal is far from safe, and when a stage is robbed and a sheriff calls for riders, Nash and Doc find themselves roped into a deadly posse with more questions than answers.
The trail leads into rough country — and darker secrets. The outlaws they’re hunting aren’t the only ones with blood on their hands. And some men will do anything to make sure the truth never reaches Tombstone.
