I am a bit worried. I may have upset someone who is not to be trifled with. One who holds grudges for life and passes on that grudge to the next generations. Generations.. plural. Yikes. I don’t know what the whole story was, but yesterday, in my backyard, there was a crow attacking a squirrel. He was ruthless. I ran out screaming and yelling at the crow to leave the squirrel alone and get out of my yard. From a neighbors roof he gave me evil eye while I yelled all sorts of things at him. I really like having the squirrels in my yard, and I hate to see the crows and hawks looking at them like they are dinner. It very well may be that the squirrel was up to no good, but he certainly looked like he was on the losing end of that battle. I know better than to yell at crows. You cross one of them and not only will they hold a grudge, but they will pass that knowledge onto their kids and their kid’s kids will also hold the grudge. Really quite remarkable. Was it worth the price? I don’t know. I will try to smooth it over with a few free walnut gifts to the crows from the front yard. They might be reasonable creatures.
