We are being lied to, and I am going to expose the TRUTH!!! Can you please tell me how on Earth the thermostat can tell me that it is 72 degrees in the house and I am freezing?? There is a chill in the air that is making me miserable. Hubby programmed the heater portion of the thermostat to not go above 70, even when I try to increase it manually. Sure, I could read the instructions on how to change that, but I am lazy. I would much rather just grumble at hubby from underneath an oversized heating blanket. Here is the thing… when I was able to increase the heater temperature, I would increase it to 73 (when I was feeling extra spicey) and I would be cooking in no time. So why am I freezing at 72? Lies, all lies. Where is my blanket?

Something in the Walls – A Mind-Bending Horror That Will Keep You Awake at Night

David Howell came to Hollywood chasing a dream. He never expected to wake up in a nightmare.

The earthquake should have been the worst of it — a violent tremor that shook his crumbling apartment building and rattled his nerves. But when the dust settles, something else begins to stir. Something that was never meant to surface.

It starts small — phantom shudders through the walls, rustling from the vents, the sensation of being watched. Then the first resident disappears. And then another.

As David digs deeper, he uncovers a horrifying truth: the quake didn’t just damage the building — it cracked open the earth below, allowing something to rise.

A relentless, skin-crawling descent into terror, Something in the Walls is perfect for fans of H.P. Lovecraft, Adam Nevill, and cosmic horror that leaves you breathless.
