This weekend I learned how it was all going to end for me. I gotta say, I am not surprised. Last Saturday hubby and I went garage saleing. 45 houses participated in a neighborhood sale, and it was amazing! We found so many cool treasures. A lot of vintage dishes, garden items, and I even picked up a few antiques. It was a lot of fun. There was this one house though. OH MY GOLLY! The guy had two huge tables of unopened and discontinued Legos. The sets that he had were AMAZING. He had a few series that I didn’t even know existed. Lego, as you know, is one of my favorite toys that I still collect and put together this day. I was in Heaven checking out his selection. The guy and I started chatting up a storm, and he asked me if I would like to see the rest of his collection inside the house. YES YES!!! I just about ran him over to get inside. I didn’t, but just about. I followed him inside, up the stairs, down the hall, through a few doors, all the way to the back of the house into a room filled with new unopened boxes of Legos, and I walked in freely. It was an amazing collection. He then asked if I wanted to see the the special collection in the other room. YUP YUP! He opened the door and stacked from floor to ceiling were rare and discontinued sets worth over $600 each. OF COURSE I WENT INTO THAT ROOM! He proudly told me about each one and we had a nice chat about it. Then I went back outside to where hubby was waiting for me. He had no clue I had left. That’s when it hit me. Did I just jump into the van with candy?
