I think hubby has been a bit disappointed that I have not shown as much enthusiasm for the woodworking shop that he has been putting together for the past year, as he would have liked. Since last Christmas, when he bought me the CNC machine that uses creations that you make on the computer and carves the pieces for you, I haven’t really done a lot with it. For some reason my imagination just wasn’t into it. Until NOW! As soon as it hit September first I was in full blown creative mode for the holidays. The pumpkins came out and so did the ideas. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t force myself to be creative. It has to come out naturally. It is a huge relief that I am feeling it now, because I was feeling bad that I wasn’t using the awesome gift hubby got me. Although, the bonus to waiting such a long time is he was the one to learn all the tricks from studying up on the machine and testing them out. Now I get to benefit from all the time he put into it and get right down to making cool projects. THANKS HUBBY!!!

From the author of The Fringe comes an addictive new dystopian saga.

When Lark was sentenced to twenty-five years behind bars, she thought San Judas was her lucky break. The primitive 16,000-acre community in rural New Mexico isn’t like any other prison. There are no cells, there is no warden, and Mother Mercy is the law.

She didn’t realize she’d be fighting for survival on a daily basis — battling hunger, violent inmates, and Mother Mercy’s iron fist. Lark’s only friend is Bernie — an off-the-rails environmental activist doing time for arson — and a mysterious stranger who’s been sending her illicit messages from the men’s colony.

Lark never thought escaping San Judas was possible until a message in a bottle changes everything: The guards outside the walls are disappearing, and the world as they know it is coming to an end.

Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama of life in the mythical village of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire — an allegorical representation of all life — is an American classic. It is the simple story of a love affair that asks timeless questions about the meaning of love, life, and death.

Our Town explores the relationship between two young neighbors, George Gibbs and Emily Webb, whose childhood friendship blossoms into romance, and then culminates in marriage. When Emily loses her life in childbirth, the circle of life portrayed in each of the three acts — childhood, adulthood, and death — is fully realized.

Often considered one of the greatest American plays of all time, Our Town is also Wilder’s most frequently staged play. It debuted on Broadway in 1938 and continues to be performed daily on stages all around the world.
