I don’t name my plants. Never have. I know a few people who have. I just can’t bring myself to do it. Thing is, I know I will be harassing any plant that comes into my life, and giving it a name will only make me feel guilty when I rip it out of it’s spot and move it to another…again and again. I would also like to avoid any bad feelings when I grow tired of a plant and give it away or worse throw it out. YIKES. No. I already feel guilty about enough in my life. I won’t name a plant. I made the mistake of naming the two lizards that live in the front yard. Now I am constantly worrying about them being eaten by predators. Big mistake…BIG!

But her killers haven’t finished torturing him. On the anniversary of his wife’s death, a Sorceress had her vampire goons kidnap his daughter.

Five years of retirement has made Joseph physically out of shape, magically rusty, emotionally grumpy, and entirely dependent on alcohol… but he’s back in the game and out for blood. Will he fail, once again, to protect someone he loves, or can he overcome his shortcomings to intervene before it’s too late?
