I got up at 5:30 this morning. I was on a mission. I got up, got my robe on, grabbed a can of paint, and headed toward my bees in the backyard. I was finally going to paint that dull, dirty bee box. I tried to paint it last night at 9pm, but it was so warm out the bees were still going in and out. The ladies were partying! Partying bees, means I can’t paint, so I had to catch them when they were all sleeping. Thankfully this morning they were all secure inside, so I got to painting. It will be nice to have a pretty yellow bee box in the garden and not the dirty gross one I have now. They deserve better. I just hope the paint dries enough to let them out early this morning. It’s going to be another hot day!
