A glutton for punishment! That is exactly what I am. I have been doing a lot of very tedious work at my desk for the past two weeks or so, and I have been needing to get out a move my body a bit to make me feel a little better. So what is my plan? Shovel wood chips. Yup. Today my plan is to get away from my desk a bit and shovel wood chips to the back yard. The two yards of chips I put back there last Spring have settled down and now I am seeing a lot of thin spots. It’s going to rain next week, so If I want it to be as easy as possible I gotta do it either today or Friday. I actually don’t have to do it at all. I could just wait until Spring, but why wait to torture myself when I could do it right now. YAY! If I do it now it will leave my brain free to put up Christmas lights outside this weekend. My sleigh is complete, now I just need to set the scene around it. After the wood chips of course!

So Long And Thanks For All The Bacon

About once in every decade, a book comes along that changes not only the way you think but also your future take on mankind.
– THIS IS NOT THAT BOOK!

“Who am I and why should you buy this book? Well, first off, try and steal a copy from a friend. A friend you don’t like and one you think will forget to ask for the book back. If that fails, then you should buy this book because most of the good movies have already been re-made and you can tell friends, without lying, that you read.”

From IKEA (the original ‘Escape Room’) to Flying Cars, Shipping Kittens to Cheesecake Factory (you can’t be good at everything), Dog People vs. Cat People to settling the great Miracle Whip vs. Mayonnaise debate (there is only one correct answer). Plus, you will finally learn how to win that crappy cocktail game, “If you could have dinner with anyone, who would you choose?” – These are the topics (and many more) that keep author Fred Rewey up at night.
