I already warned everyone once before that the signs were there. The last plants were delivered a week ago to Costco, and this week the plant department doors were closed for the season. The remaining plants were brought inside, and are right in the front to tempt people to grab then while they can.  Yesterday I went to the craft store. I am sorry to say it, but Fall and Halloween decor are out.  Which makes me wonder if I was a bit late in planting my veggies, I am just now getting tomatoes, and my butternut squash are just starting to show little tiny baby gourds. It could just be that the stores are getting earlier and earlier each year with their holiday decoration. I for one welcome the Supreme Holiday Overlords. HECK… I have been watching the Hallmark Original Christmas in July Movies for the past week. Those of course put me in the mood to shop, so I went out and bought gifts for three people on my Christmas list. Don’t get mad, the local nursery was having a 25% off everything sale, and I just couldn’t resist. I bought a few little things for myself, so I am not fully in the Christmas spirit of giving, unless giving to yourself is part of that. To keep the Summertime feeling alive and strong in my house, I still have my Fourth of July decorations up. It has nothing to do with the fact that I am too lazy to take them down. Really… it’s not that. Well…maybe a little.
