I don’t know whats gotten into those turkeys at city hall, but lately it seems like they feel like rules don’t apply to them. This is a very serious issue and someone needs to do something about it. The flock seems to have grown to at least twenty or so, and there is no clear leader that I can see. It’s absolute chaos. They used to not be much of a bother and would use the crosswalk in a very orderly fashion, so it didn’t have much of an impact on traffic. Now they are all over the roads, crossing anywhere they choose and holding up traffic during heavy commute hours. In fact, I think they set their alarms to the busiest times of day so they know when to play in the streets. They have even migrated to the Walgreens where all the chickens hang out. I guess I can’t complain too much about it, since the chickens don’t seem to mind. Everyone still moves out of the way when you are trying to park so at least they have a bit of manners there. The poop is getting a bit out of hand, but with all the rain we have been getting, it washes away pretty quickly.
