After I complete a level in a game on my phone it asks me if I want to post my results on Facebook. Why on Earth would I want to post my results? So people know that I lied to them about being too busy to do whatever it was they wanted me to do? I don’t want anyone knowing I have a free moment. As soon as they know I am actually just sitting on my couch and not busy doing important things, they will come looking for me to help them with something. Sometimes I just really need a bit of quiet couch time. If they see that I am at level 375, they will know that I have been lying about how busy I am for the past year. I don’t need any sort of drama like that in my life. No thanks.

A man she couldn’t forget… a second chance to prove that love never fails. A clean wholesome romance that’s touching and tender.

Maddie Grantham and Jeff Young fell head over heels in love almost a year ago, but sudden deployment orders kept them from following a standard path down the aisle. They got married in front of a local judge just days before Jeff was flown away with his team.

Maddie tried to keep a smile upon her face, but seeing the other military wives pitying her on a daily basis was wearing on her. When she had the chance to change her perspective, she jumped at it. She moved to Montana and continued her work as a pediatric nurse, working with cancer patients.

That was nine months ago, and now her husband is back. They were married for less than a week before he left, and Maddie is having to come to terms with the fact that she’s married to a virtual stranger. She loves him, or at least, she loves what she knew about him. Now she has to learn to love the man standing in front of her and not let her fear of the future keep her from living up to the kind of wife she promised Jeff she’d be.

Jeff Young leads a team of Special Forces soldiers into some of the most horrific places on the earth. He’s just returned after spending several months in captivity. He returned to base, hoping to see his wife waiting there for him, but instead he is summoned to the CO’s office.

His wife moved to Montana! Jeff is given the opportunity to go to her and decide if he wishes to remain in the military. To say his wife is surprised when he shows up is an understatement. She’s thrilled to have him back with her, but also terrified that he will be called away again.

Join Jeff and Maddie as they navigate the waters of their relationship and learn to love each other again. Love came in like a tidal wave the first time around. Hurried and without any of the normal wedding accoutrements. No family. No parents. No wedding cake or reception. No wedding dress.

When two of Jeff’s new friends suggest changing that, he can’t help but go along with it. His love for Maddie is larger than life. With the help of the townsfolk and his friends, he’ll give Maddie what she’s always longed for. A wedding that only Castle Peaks could pull off.
