You know who we need more of? Richard Simmons! That guy just oozes awesomeness, and I think he should be on every single channel on TV. It’s that kind of positivity that we all need a bit more of in our lives. I just watched a short video of him on Facebook, and I am certain I just sat up straighter in my chair and smiled. He has that affect on people. My little experiment to snooze negative people for 30 days on Facebook brought me the Richard Simmons post from someone I haven’t seen on my news feed in a long time. I know it’s too early to tell, but I think my experiment is going to be a success.

From best-selling author Mark Wayne McGinnis comes the highly anticipated Scrapyard Ship spin-off series, Star Watch.

The Craing War is now over… the enemy defeated. As planetary systems around the galaxy try to bring normalcy back to their existence, one thing becomes crystal clear… without the Craing around to keep everyone in line, space has become a far more dangerous place.

With tens of thousands of warships idle, along with hundreds of thousands of Allied crew personnel sitting on their hands, it’s up to Admiral Perry Reynolds whether or not to send the combatants home, and mothball most of the ships. But as more and more requests for prompt Allied assistance come in from the farthest reaches of outer space (i.e. for minor incursions into sovereign territory; or others, more serious — including barbaric planetary invasions), Admiral Reynolds is compelled to introduce a new stellar over-watch program. With his own career winding down, one of his final directives will be in the formation of a special intergalactic marshaling service… Star Watch. The admiral has the perfect ship lined up for the task — the most advanced warship in the known galaxy: the mile-long Caldurian vessel — the Minian. Next… he needs to outfit the ship with a captain and crew he can trust to get this far-range venture initiated properly.

Across the galaxy, young Boomer, daughter of Captain Jason Reynolds, begins her training in the ancient fighting methods of the Kahill Callan, and prepares to battle against Lord Vikor Shakrim — leader of the dreaded Sahhrain warriors.

George Patton

The name Patton has almost become synonymous with “General,” the two words have become nearly interchangeable in American history. When the name General Patton comes to mind we are automatically inundated with themes of strength, and tough resolution.
Patton was a man who seemed to embody the old American ethos’ of the rugged individual who shattered all expectations, decimated the status quo, and pulled himself up by his bootstraps, succeeding when all odds were against just because he was audacious enough to try. In his exploits Patton seems to loom larger than them all.

Inside you will read about…

A Patent for Patton
In Between War
This Means War
Operation Husky
Invasion of Normandy
The Battle of the Bulge
Man of Controversy
The Last Days of Patton
And much more!

But Patton was not some comic book superhero, he was a real person and just as flawed as the rest of us. He had his hopes and fears, he made his mistakes, and he lived his life. In order to understand Patton, you can’t focus on just one side of this larger than life personality; you have to take in the whole picture. This book allows you to do just that.
