Visiting all these farms and gardens for work has inspired me. Well that’s no good when it is the end of the season and I am supposed to be thinking about getting everything ready for winter. Stop inspiring ME!! You know I am going to be thinking about it all Winter, and it’s not even Fall yet. I just found the hazard of my new job. Can you really get sick from over inspiration? That might actually be a thing. In fact I think my stomach is really starting to hurt from it. Ouch. I know. I will buy two little rosemary plants and call you all in the morning.

Detective Reed Mattox, just three months removed from the death of his partner, has turned invisibility into an art form. That distance is shattered though when bodies begin turning up in The Bottoms, the poverty-stricken section of town he is assigned to patrol. Grisly, horrific scenes start to pop up in the middle of the night and the overburdened precinct has no choice but to put Reed on it.

Now operating far outside of his comfort zone with a Belgian Malinois for a partner that attracts attention wherever they go, Reed is forced to unravel the murders, taking him clear across the city and back years in time, to an event that some very influential people will do anything to keep buried…

In this dark comedy you’ll meet the Charons. They’re your typical dysfunctional family but also happen to be four of the world’s best assassins.

Father Michael Charon was the head of a division of the CIA that fulfilled so many “wet” hit contracts it was code named “Water Works.” Mother Valerie is a femme fatale who has been leading men to their demise for decades. Then there are the twins, Olivia and Seth. Despite their youth, they are responsible for some of the highest profile “hits” around the world.

Years earlier, while still at the CIA, Michael Charon was blindsided by a media leak after a covert mission gone bad, The ensuing scandal created a firestorm in Washington which required a high profile scapegoat. To protect his “Water Works” team, Charon cut a deal. Instead of embarrassing The Company by pointing fingers or naming names, he fell on his own sword.

After a seven-year self-imposed exile, when he traveled throughout the Far East, Charon resurfaced in Washington. With unexplained but seemingly unlimited funding, he set up an ultra-high-end boutique security firm. With a knack for getting results in impossible situations and a history of keeping his mouth shut, the services of Sariel International were soon much in demand by the rich and the powerful of the world.

Charon’s life is turned upside down when a beautiful but mysterious young woman appears unannounced at his office. He soon learns that members of his old Water Works team have come out of retirement and for unknown reasons are killing each other.

When he follows the trail, he discovers the identity of the person who had leaked the story years earlier and the startling reason why.

The Multi-Cooker comes equipped with cooking programs and functions, which the book will walk you through. All devices are bound to have some issues, so you’ll also learn how to troubleshoot common problems, like undercooked food or a stuck lid.

Once you’ve familiarized yourself with the Express Multi-Cooker, you’ll get to the best part of the book: the recipes.
