I must be a horrible person. I am seeing all these posts on Facebook by parents who are so sad that another school year has past and their kids are growing up so fast. So many posts of their kids as babies and wondering where the time went. So many sad emojis. Then there is me. I haven’t posted a picture of my baby bassets in forever, so you know already I am a horrible parent. I am also not sad about the school year ending. I can’t wait to assign my baby bassets their t-shirt and shorts for the entire vacation. They are not to wear anything else. I have decided to take a vacation from laundry and that is all they get, one pair of shorts and one t-shirt. I am also going to make bathing option for my little sweeties as well. Wait.. they are starting to stink. Maybe I will still nag them about that, but we are all definitely sleeping in. Just so the other parents don’t think I am the devil, I am going to act sad today at the end of year carnival. I never took an acting class, so I might just Google some sad phrases to memorize so they don’t think poorly of me.
