UGH!!! We bought a new refrigerator and the thing is lovely. Actually it is AWESOME!!! I love it so much. It is new, shiny, and it makes me smile. Unfortunately it makes the rest of the house look old and run down. Even the bathroom down the hall on the other side of the house. Ugly bathroom…UGLY! Don’t get me started on my bedspread. It is dull. EVERYTHING MUST GO!

Welcome to the Rust Valley.

The Wild North is full of nasty places, but there are some places you just don’t go. One of them is that scrapyard desert known as the Rust Valley. It’s where vehicles go to die. That’s why you don’t go in after them.

The bounty hunter Nox made a promise to himself that he’d never be caught dead there. Yet, when a couple of kids end up wandering inside that metal maze, he finds himself with no other choice.

He decks himself out in his finest armour. He’ll need it. That land is where the rust-covered Clockwork Commune live, and if they don’t scavenge the metal off you, they’ll scavenge the flesh instead.

Nox is used to being called the Coilhunter, but this time he’s saddling up with a new, more fitting title: the Rustkiller.

This is a standalone book in the Coilhunter Chronicles series, which can be read in any order.

FOR A BREEZY, EASY, FUN, AND SQUEAKY-CLEAN READ, THERE’S JUST NO SUBSTITUTE FOR A MISSY DEMEANOR COZY MYSTERY!
Readers will fall in love with the sweet-natured Missy — and why not? She’s every young woman. Or perhaps we should say every single young woman.

Brianna Bates’ Missy struggles with all the romantic issues of an American Bridget Jones, including how to handle more than one man in her life. Not to mention the same weight insecurity. But that’s about all she’s insecure about — Missy’s independent, doesn’t need a man to be happy, and supports herself working more than one job. Plus, she’s got a beautiful dog, half a dozen hobbies, and dozens of friends she grew up with, one in particular — her best friend, Noreen.

But right now she’s wondering if Noreen’s beginning to favor another friend, someone Missy just can’t work up any affection for. She could brood about that, but when she goes to a scrapbooking session at a local school, she doesn’t even get in the door before someone gets murdered.Missy has murder karma, no question!

And after three successful outings, she’s now proved herself as an amateur detective extraordinaire. The police know they need her help, and there’s a new cop in town — a hot one. But then, her high school sweetheart’s back too. What’s a female sleuth to do? (Watching Missy solve that one’s half the fun.)

Since Missy works in a bookstore, fans of Carolyn Hart’s Death on Demand series will think they’ve come home again. Animal lovers will fall for her dog Cody, and fans of women sleuths, especially light, delicious cozies you can read fast, with no cliffhangers, on-the-page violence (though there may be bodies!), or graphic scenes will eat this up. If you like Gina LaManna, Jana DeLeon, Mary Daheim, and Leighann Dobbs, give Missy a try!

The Bride of Ashbyrn House
by Amy Cross
4.0 Stars (102 Reviews)
Genre: Horror

FREE for a limited time

“I have waited so long for your return.”

In the English countryside, miles from the nearest town, there stands an old stone house. Nobody has set foot in the house for years. Nobody has dared. For it is said that even though the lady of the house is long dead, a face can sometimes be seen at one of the windows. A pale, dead face that waits patiently behind a silk wedding veil.

Seeking an escape from his life in London, Owen Stone purchases Ashbyrn House without waiting to find out about its history. As far as Owen is concerned, ghosts aren’t real and his only company in the house will be the thin-legged spiders that lurk on the walls. Even after he moves in, and after he starts hearing strange noises in the night, Owen insists that Ashbyrn House can’t possibly be haunted.

But Owen knows nothing about the ghostly figure that is said to haunt the house. Or about the mysterious church bells that ring out across the lawn at night. Or about the terrible fate that befell the house’s previous inhabitants when they dared defy the bride. Even as Owen starts to understand the horrific truth about Ashbyrn House’s past, he might be too late to escape the clutches of the presence that watches his every move.

The Bride of Ashbyrn House is a ghost story about a man who believes the past can’t hurt him, and about a woman whose search for a husband has survived even her own tragic death.

BURGERS

Burgers truly are amazing. They can be both salty, sour, sweet and can bring out the best flavor of any meat. There is no wondering to why burgers are very popular.

In this book, I give you a few ideas on different takes on a burger and try to push the boundaries of what a burger can be. In these recipes you will a find a variety of meats ranging from brisket to lobster, and of course we have an option for our vegetarian friends.

I am not a chef by any means, but I am very passionate about cooking. I have been grilling with my old man since I was a little boy and I am happy to have carried out this tradition with my children. And as you can imagine, burgers are a staple at our household when it comes to weekend grilling.

Here is the different recipes:

• The Nutty Protein

• The Millionaire

• The Zesty Asian

• The Double Bison

• The Frenchy

• The Mexi-Turkey

• The Mexican

• The Italian

• The Mini Mario

• The Japanese Buffalo

• The Proud Chest

• The Swiss

• The Sugar Daddy

• The Greek

• The Basil Needs

• The Veggie

• The Smoker

• The Dude

• The Lean One

• The Surfer

This is some of my favorite recipes to cook at home, in the kitchen or on the grill.

I hope you’re hungry!
