Junebug is certainly set in her ways, even at her young age. In the morning, certain events have to take place in a certain order. I tried to do things a bit out of order today and she flat out refused to cooperate. It goes, open nighttime crate, stretch for one minute, look cute, then slowly trudge down hall to the back door to go pee. Come in, harass the old pup Jethro, harass the old cat Sinny, run into daytime crate for food and eat. Be released from daytime crate, lick cat bowl clean, run to back door to go pee and poo. Only after these events have taken place, can she start her day. I tried to skip the first pee and go straight to eating today and she just sat there staring at me and making tiny whimpering noises, so I let her out back to pee. I then tried to skip the harassing of Jethro and Sinny, and she still wasn’t having it. So I let her say good morning to them both, and put her back in the daytime crate. That is when she started eating. My golly little pup! Be flexible!
