I have mentioned before that my baby bassets don’t particularly like my cooking and dinnertime is usually a battle. It must be a Christmas miracle because for the past three nights they have eaten and liked my last three meals. I have been playing around with the Instant Pot hubby did not give me as a gift and I hate to admit that it’s been kinda fun. Tonight I am going to make a sure fire win meal of spaghetti, so I can enjoy this winning streak for just one more night. I have no time for battles because I want to start my cookie baking early and be able to send them out this weekend. I am pushing so hard to get them done because I have started my annual lie to myself routine. I have the delusion that if I can get the baking and taste testing done before the first weekend in December, I can start the month off eating healthy and hopefully lose a few pounds before Christmas. I know I am lying to myself, but it’s tradition.
