Like so many of us trying to find the answers to the world’s most important questions, I Googled my question. The question of how to raise a non- yappy small dog. Turns out, one way is to keep your small dog from getting bored and give her plenty of exercise. So yesterday I took little Junebug to two different dog parks yesterday. One of them twice. I hadn’t planned to go three times, but I was in search of other small dogs for her to play with. Sadly I was unsuccessful. She had spent all of her time being mobbed by very large dogs that were completely fascinated by her. Thankfully all were very gently, but it certainly wasn’t fun for her. She did take a shine to a Newfoundland though. He was a handsome fella that lumbered about like a giant. She could hide under him, surrounded in his fur, which she did on several occasion to avoid the other pups.I couldn’t be certain he knew she was there. So after all that, she went straight to bed last night. Hubby was quite upset with me that he didn’t get his cuddle with her. Sorry hubby. No selfies with pup pup tonight.
