So far I feel pretty lucky. My sweet chickies have not discovered the raised garden yet. Maybe it’s because there are too many interesting and tasty bugs underneath distracting them. I would prefer to not have to put fencing around it and be able to access everything easily. I know in my heart they are just waiting for my guard to be down. They have every intention of jumping in there and destroying every last plant. They know there is nothing in it yet, so they are waiting until there is something tasty before they pounce. Chickens pounce ya know. They know I will be quick to put a barrier up once I see them digging around in there. Smart chickies.

When ex-Army Ranger Jake Fonko is hired for a routine job in the Caribbean, the first day of his mission doesn’t turn out as planned. A bloody bank robbery, a barroom shootout, multiple aerial dogfights and a chopper crash in the Jamaican jungle welcome him to paradise.

After stumbling into possession of highly sensitive financial documents from the BCCI, Jake finds himself pursued relentlessly by crooks, cartels and corrupt politicians, the CIA and the KGB. If he wants to survive the idyllic islands, Jake must find a way out of a mess that’s anything but routine. But with no passport and no backup, are Jake’s training and ironic wit enough to survive the suffocating surveillance?

Genre: Action & Adventure | Romance

A sweeping historical adventure that’s equal parts romance and thriller, K.T. Tomb’s latest novel takes the reader from war-torn ancient Greece to deep sea dangers… and something far worse.

On the brink of the Roman Invasion of Greece, the city of Corinth, well established as a mighty seat of power in the Achaean League, is threatened with impending destruction. Widespread colonization of the mainland has severed crucial supply chains and the need to establish a fruitful colony of their own has emerged.

Aineias and his steersman, Pyrrhus are the only sailors willing to take on the voyage which will take them across the Seas, through the Pillars of Hercules and into the vastly unknown Oceans beyond in search of Priteni, a beautiful and fertile island of fable.

With his crew of free men and a chain of Tracian slaves, Aineias sojourns to the end of his world and into the new in search of a land whose colonization could save the future of his beloved city. But as their journey progresses, evidence that the Romans are preparing for a major incursion on Achaea becomes more and more evident. The men soon realize that the only hope they have of saving Corinth before the Romans reach the isthmus of Megara is to chase after a legendary creature which has been destroying ships and killing sailors around the Strait.

If they could capture it and bring it East with them, they could turn it loose on the expanding navies of Rome and put an end to their attack on Greece. They know their task is impossible, even the gods have told them so, but if Aineias and his men are to change the fate of their homeland, then they have no choice but to seek… the Kraken.
