I can’t believe it’s that time of year already. Time to order bees for the Spring. I think this year I want to get a colony from a swarm caught by another beekeeper. The swarm my partner in crime and I bought last year seems to be much stronger than the bees we bought from a store, and they can take care of their parasites a lot more efficiently. I’m excited to add another colony, since last year I won a complete bee box set-up. I have been so focused on the holidays my bees have been pushed to the back of my mind. They haven’t suffered from it at all, since they didn’t really need to be tented to. With the cold weather it would kill them if I tried to open the box up. Time is flying, and I want to be ready when our bees are flying to!

However, that all changed when a handsome stranger literally walked into her life while on the beach and sparks began to fly. New York’s most eligible billionaire bachelor Jack Saunders thought this vacation would be the perfect escape, one last hurrah, before taking full control of his father’s company. She finds herself riding an emotional roller coaster. Moments of wonder and of frustration, tiny successes and multiple failures, American friends and village neighbors, all shape Shannon’s new world – and her with it.
