Don’t get me wrong, I love coffee, but some mornings call for something a little stronger. After this weekend I need something like super ultra coffee to get me going. I just can’t drink any of those neon energy drinks though, BLEGH! I never knew what the taste of neon was, but after I tried one sip of my hubby’s favorite drink, all my clothing from the eighties became a horrid nightmare. It was bad enough how I looked back then, but now knowing what my clothes tasted like was just more than I could handle. Since my only option seems to be more coffee I guess I will grab a second cup, put on some sunglasses and go into autopilot mode. When I was younger hangovers came from too much drinking, now I have a hangover from too much cheering and having fun with the family. I am so PG! Wait..I’m not even PG. I am so G rated. I don’t wanna be G rated! I don’t think I want to go so far as be R rated, but maybe NC17. I don’t know… I gotta think about this.

A MISSING GIRL. A DESPERATE FATHER. A RACE AGAINST TIME.

Dean Roberts is a sick, elderly man with just one precious thing in his life ? his teenage daughter, Marisa. When she mysteriously disappears on a road trip across the States the police draw a blank and Kane and Lucy are hired to find her and bring her home. But as they retrace her last known movements they realize she has been kidnapped — and that this this is no ordinary abduction, with no apparent motive. Her bank account is untouched, no ransom demand has been made, and a telephone call from the missing girl a few days after her disappearance only adds to the mystery. But as their search continues they identify a darkly sinister group whose victims are turning up dead — real dead — and as the body count rises they realize they are in a race against time as they enlist the assistance of local law enforcement officers, forensic experts and friends of the missing girl in a desperate attempt to find her before it’s too late.

It all seems perfectly innocent when five women who have spent their lives putting others first, following rules, and doing what’s expected of them form the Selfish Women’s Club. Their mission is simple. They will support and encouraged each other to indulge guilt free in whatever their hearts desire. From maids and chauffeurs, health spas and beauty treatments, fine wine and five-star restaurants, they spoil themselves rotten. But with Christmas less than two weeks away, Lou, one of the club’s members, has an issue. Her maid is in desperate need of help, and the twenty-dollar gift limit the Selfish Women’s Club has agreed on just won’t work. Lou points out that while everyone in the club has honed selfishness to an art, they still always follow rules. She proposes to steal her maid’s mail, a federal offense, to pay her maid’s debts. She points out that by committing a crime to take care of her maid’s bills she will be doing something other than what everyone expects her to do. This, she insists, furthers the club’s mission. The other women are so taken with this idea that each one of them decides to break a law to give someone the perfect gift for Christmas. The crimes range from misdemeanors to felonies as each one of the Selfish Woman eagerly jump into the club’s new direction. Mischief, high jinks, and adventure follow as they delight in their scofflaw undertakings. The only question is… can they get away with it?

A city that doesn’t believe in magic. Bloodthirsty weredragons. Good thing this reckless playboy has superpowers… It’s been said that monsters cry when a good man goes to war. But they should run screaming like little school girls when that man is secretly a wizard, and maybe not necessarily good… Nate Temple’s all-consuming quest to avenge his parents is temporarily put on hold when shape-shifting dragons invade St. Louis. And perhaps cow-tipping the Minotaur for answers might not have been Nate’s smartest opening move, because now every flavor of supernatural thug from our childhood nightmares is gunning for him. Nate learns that the only way to save his city from these creatures is to murder his best friend… Nate’s choice will throw the world and his own conscience into cataclysmic chaos: avenge his parents or become a murderer to save his city. Because to do either, he’s going to have to show the world that magic is very, very real, and that monsters are very, very hungry… To survive, he might just need to take a page from the book, How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters.

Witches, Werebears, and Imps. Oh my!

Waiting for Karma is fine–for the patient. But for the rest of us, it sure would be nice to give Karma a little nudge every once in a while. Was it one too many dates that turned out to be losers or liars? Was it a problem with two-faced backstabbers? Or maybe a problem with the so-called customer service centers! There comes a day when enough is really, truthfully, enough already. For Kelly and Esmeralda, two snarky single witches, that day was yesterday. After applying their witchcraft to dish out a little magical payback, they realize they have a penchant for the dark art of revenge. And who’s to say a witch can’t make a few bucks with a talent like that? Doing the odd job was fun and gratifying. Then along came an unusual client with a pitch for an idea, Karma Inc Reality TV. The witches set up shop in the sleepy little town of Caldron Falls, Wisconsin. By enabling the good citizens to settle old scores, they hoped to transform the town into a virtual coliseum of televised revenge. It doesn’t take long before a few inconvenient and unexpected dead bodies to pile up. To complicate matters, Caldron Falls just happens to have more than its fair share of paranormal creatures, not to mention a Chicago mobster seemingly bent on taking over the town. Can Esmeralda and Kelly solve the rash of unexplained deaths before they get the blame and end up behind bars? What will Marie Laveau and the Witches Union have to say about this? And as any fool knows, Karma carries a round-trip ticket. This paranormal romantic comedy contains witches, imps, shifters, and a Reality TV show! Karma Inc contains adult language and situations, and is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
