As much work as having a garage sale is, I have to say I had a lot of fun. Once everything was set up, and I was happily relaxing in my chair with a coffee, the garage sale party began. Hubby and I spent the day chatting it up with all the neighbors on our street, and got the latest gossip. It really turned into a bit of a neighborhood party, but without the food, and I got to make a few dollars. It was a great day, but I am happy that it is all done, and off my todo list. Hubby is looking a bit worried though. He is wondering what I have planned next. I don’t think he wants to ask me because it might get him volunteered for something.

Living vicariously through her best friend Claire’s perfect life wasn’t the plan, nor her ideal. However, Matty learned long ago that it’s easier to run and hide from life than to deal with the pain of the post-traumatic stress she’s suffered from since being raped at sixteen. When Claire announces her family is moving, she asks Matty to come too. Having grown up Navy, Matty’s no stranger to picking up and starting over. However, moving half-way around the world to play nanny to Claire’s children doesn’t sound like the new beginning Matty yearns for. Nor does she want to leave without first confronting her fears and coming full-healing-circle. She can’t let another decade slip by before she’s able to trust again. Endorsed by writer/director Angela Shelton, WAITING FOR PAINT TO DRY is a late coming of age story of what it takes to find yourself again.

Dark Space I HUMANITY IS DEFEATED

Ten years ago the Sythians invaded the galaxy with one goal: to wipe out the human race. THEY ARE HIDING Now the survivors are hiding in the last human sector of the galaxy: Dark Space–once a place of exile for criminals, now the last refuge of mankind. THEY ARE ISOLATED The once galaxy-spanning Imperium of Star Systems is left guarding the gate which is the only way in or out of Dark Space–but not everyone is satisfied with their governance. AND THEY ARE KILLING EACH OTHER Freelancer and ex-convict Ethan Ortane is on the run. He owes crime lord Alec Brondi 10,000 sols, and his ship is badly damaged. When Brondi catches up with him, he makes an offer Ethan can’t refuse. Ethan must infiltrate and sabotage the Valiant, the Imperial Star Systems Fleet carrier which stands guarding the entrance of Dark Space, and then his debt will be cleared. While Ethan is still undecided about what he will do, he realizes that the Imperium has been lying and putting all of Dark Space at risk. Now Brondi’s plan is starting to look like a necessary evil, but before Ethan can act on it, he discovers that the real plan was much more sinister than what he was told, and he will be lucky to escape the Valiant alive… Dark Space II: The Invisible War THEIR SHIP IS DAMAGED Ethan Ortane has just met his long lost son, Atton, but the circumstances could have been better. After a devastating bio-attack and the ensuing battle, they’ve fled Dark Space aboard the Defiant to get away from the crime lord, Alec Brondi, who has just stolen the most powerful vessel left in the Imperial Star Systems’ Fleet–the Valiant, a five-kilometer-long gladiator-class carrier. THEY ARE LOW ON FUEL They need reinforcements to face Brondi, but beyond Dark Space the comm relays are all down, meaning that they must cross Sythian Space to contact the rest of the fleet. Making matters worse, they are low on fuel. They’ll have to travel on the space lanes to save fuel, but the lanes are controlled by Sythians, and they are fraught with entire fleets of cloaked alien ships. Dark Space III: Origin THE DEFIANT IS STRANDED Ethan and his son, Atton, have been arrested for high treason and conspiracy, crimes which will surely mean the death sentence, but it’s beginning to look like theirs aren’t the only lives in jeopardy–the Defiant is stranded in Sythian Space, and the vessel which Commander Caldin sent to get help has used all its fuel to get to Obsidian Station, only to find out that the station has been destroyed. Now the Defiant’s last hope for a rescue is gone, and everyone on board is about to die a cold, dark death. HUMANITY IS STILL FIGHTING ITSELF Meanwhile, the notorious crime lord, Alec Brondi, is plotting to capture the remnants of Admiral Hoff’s fleet, just as he captured the Valiant, but Hoff’s men are on to him, and Brondi is about to get a lot more than he bargained for, forcing him to flee to the one place he knows will be safe–Dark Space. AND A NEW INVASION IS ABOUT TO BEGIN But Dark Space is only safe because the alien invaders don’t know exactly where it is, and now they have a plan to find it which will threaten not only Dark Space, but the entire human race.

The Black Raven Inn was a hub of the 1960’s music scene-a scene that was vibrant, electrifying, and sometimes even deadly…

When artist Taryn Magill discovers that her newest client is legendary country music singer Ruby Jane Morgan, she couldn’t be more thrilled. Working with her idol, in her own hometown of Nashville, is a dream come true. But the job is far from ideal. The Black Raven Inn might have seen its heyday back in the 1960s but today it’s a sad, derelict relic from the past. Over the years it has seen more than its fair share of crime, broken dreams, and even death. In fact, Ruby’s own musical partner died there more than forty years earlier. Most people in Nashville think the abandoned hotel should be demolished, so everyone is surprised when the music icon buys it for herself. Everyone, that is, but Taryn. She knows how hard it is to let go of loved ones who have passed on. There is something dark inside the hotel’s walls, however, and soon Taryn finds herself dragged into a paranormal game of “Cat and Mouse.” Was it a coincidence that lost souls found their way to the Black Raven Inn, or did it call to them? Can old buildings really maintain memories from the past? Or is there something sinister slithering through the rooms and courtyard, waiting to wrap its diabolical arms around anyone it can seduce? Taryn, and her beloved camera Miss Dixie, are about to find out! Book 6 in the Taryn’s Camera paranormal mysteryseries. Taryn’s Camera follows Taryn Magill, an artist who recreates historical, and often run down, buildings through her paintings. She can also SEE the past through the lens of her beloved camera, Miss Dixie. Together, they work to solve the mysteries of the places they visit-sometimes with the extra help of the dead. The hauntings and poltergeists are only the beginning of what they find!

A little crime noir, a little mystery, a little paranormal-and a whole lot of fun!
