I shouldn’t worry. Nope…not gonna worry. I am just going to put it out there though. It’s May, and the rain is still coming. My partner in crime and I are going to Tough Mudder up in the mountains of Tahoe in just over a month, and I sure hope the snow is gone by then. I do not want to be swimming in ice water with snow on the ground again. Yup..again. The first Tough Mudder I did involved snow, water, and electrocution…in snow. I was not comfortable at all. I lied to myself a lot that day, telling myself I was having fun, but looking back I was just really really cold. I remember afterwards laying on the front stoop of the little condo we rented and sunning myself in hopes of defrosting. I was just a muddy blob stretched out across the threshold, moaning. That couldn’t have looked good. I think I will just lie to myself for now and say it will be a warm one (heavy sigh). Cake…cake will solve everything.
