Her legs don’t really say rooster, but her pointy tail does. Of all the chicks that are looking like a rooster It had to be Iggy. If Iggy turns out to be a rooster I certainly can’t keep her/him. This couldn’t be more distressing. Of course I went to the all knowing one (Google) and asked if they could help me identify Iggy. The only think I can confirm is if it crows it’s a male, If it lays an egg, it’s a female. Umm…thanks. Everyone seemed to say the same thing, and a lot of them said that they mistakenly thought their hen was a rooster, but came to find out later it was a hen. Okay..that doesn’t help one bit. I thought Google knew all. I am so disappointed. I am trying not to get too attached, but I find that extremely difficult when every time they see me they run to the edge of the pen to greet me.
