I never liked lucky rabbits feet. I found them gross and very unlucky for the rabbit. For golly sakes it’s a foot! I was particularly grossed out by the ones dyed green. I always worried that it was the foot of a zombie rabbit and someday he would come back to claim it.

Amidst the daily challenges of life for an autistic child, Benjamin’s passion for one particular theme park attraction would lead his family on a breathtaking journey of hope and discovery.

How many rides does it take for an ending to become a new beginning?

Cory Doctorow, New York Times best-selling author of Homeland, Little Brother, and Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom writes:

“Brimming with heart and tragedy overcome, this is a book that captures the tribulations of parenthood, the magic of Disney World, and the wonderful online communities that allow us to lend aid and comfort to strangers around the world.”

Kevin Yee, author of Epcot: The First Thirty Years: An Unofficial Retrospective, and Walt Disney World Hidden History: Remnants of Former Attractions and Other Tributes writes:

“…it’s a good book, the kind all of us should be reading. It’s the kind of book that transcends its supposed subject matter and becomes about everything else that matters in life and love; the kind of book that makes you better for having read it. Above all, it’s a book that addresses emotions straight on. The father’s emotions, Ben’s emotions, and even our own emotions as readers…

…Ben’s final ride is a touching one that resonates deeply of parental anguish and reward. I won’t spoil the details for you, but you should seek it out.”

Most people are dull and void of any substance. They trudge through life like scenery for the people who actually live it. But that’s not just how they seem; that’s truly what they are—soulless Meat Suits, made by Guardians, with no idea that they’re less. Since the beginning of time, there have always been only 3,137 everlasting human souls in the universe; never one more and never one less. Until now.

Mason Fiske was a simple Suit, playing a role in the backdrop of an Authentic human. Now he’s more. With his newfound ability to heal, he’s being called the new messiah. Throngs gather for his touch, but Mason doesn’t know that every time he heals a Suit, he gives it a soul by ripping away a little part of the Guardian who created it. He’s killing Guardians. If he can’t be stopped, the Guardians will die and the physical world that they maintain for Authentics will be shattered, forcing mankind to ascend from its earthly existence long before it’s ready. This is exactly what the Others want.

C. Allen Brown’s unique debut novella is a rocket-paced glimpse into obsession and desire. Love may heal, but love corrupted leads to very dark deeds.

Easy Recipes for Home Made Breads and Sweets

I love to cook and the bread recipes in this book are those that I use regularly. When I come across a new recipe that looks good I often follow that recipe closely the first time, and then adjust it to my needs and preferences until I have just what I’m looking for. Sometimes the modified recipe is similar to the original and sometimes it is quite different.

In this book you’ll find my base recipes as I have adjusted them. I go beyond those basic instructions however, to include a variety of tips and tricks that will help you to make your own adjustments if desired.

All of the recipes in this booklet are simple, easy and flexible. You’ll find in fact, that I have only included about a dozen basic recipes because these are building blocks. Once you are comfortable with the baking knowledge you gain from this book you will be able to skillfully whip up a number of different tastes and textures by making simple adjustments.

Each recipe is simple yet delicious, and none of them require expensive special ingredients. With this booklet, you can dig into the pantry and create

  • Rich Fudge Brownies
  • Sweet White Bread
  • Easy English Muffins
  • Flexible Cornbread
  • Rolled Tortillas
  • and more!

I am not a professional chef. I don’t have a cooking show on TV and I don’t claim to know everything under the sun about baking bread. I am simply a 40 something year old woman who learned to cook from scratch as a child and have done so regularly throughout life. I love to make baked goods and I’m quite good at it.

I strongly believe in creating food that is filling, flavorful and satisfying. I do not like sweet for sweet’s sake for example – sugar is not a flavor in my world, it’s a compliment – but I love rich and flavorful. If you’re not sure of the difference, trust me, you will understand fully after you’ve made my Rich Fudge Brownies :

All of my base recipes use standard pantry items. I look for new recipes when I’m in the mood to cook, not shop.
