I’m hoping the darkness of last night has past. The family has been informed that the Easter candy has been destroyed. Gone, Dumped, too old to keep. Okay, it’s still hiding in the closet, but good googly I can’t take looking at it anymore. It’s terrible not being able to eat sweets and I have a closet full of chocolate temptations just waiting for me to devour it. But I had to test the water first. If there was a lot of screaming and crying I would have said I saved a few pieces, but since they only gave me sad puppy eyes I was able to resist. Now I just have to find the strength to really throw it out.
