This is a story about first love and second chances, between two childhood friends who were torn apart by forces out of their control, before they could even begin. It's young and angsty. Fun. With emotion and some open door steam. It was unputdownable. I rooted for them. It pulled at my heartstrings and kept me guessing.
I predicted a lot of it. But it didn't change how I felt while reading it. I did feel the ending was rushed a tad bit too. After all they had been through, I just wanted more. But I did like how the author didn't try to 'fix' everything to make it a perfectly wrapped up HEA. There's still a HEA, FYI.
This debut wowed me. I had no idea it was one, until after I finished it. Keeping it vague. But just read this author!!
