and there are a whole lot of them in
this trailer hood. Some describe it as southern humor, I disagree, its just funny and these characters exist in Boston and Maine and elsewhere, thy just don't live n trailers. A lot of the characters are amalgamations because no one could be that stupid (or could they). this was a great read and I can't wait for more. The only bad thing is the author has written several other books on serious topics, he will be best known for his adventures as a trailer park manager than for anything else he ever wrote. So when is book two due out and oh yes please make it longer by s factor of 10.

This is a great book to distract you from your own disastrous life, or introduce you to a new kind of glorious disaster all together. Either way if you want a quick, funny and whirlwind escape this is book is a prime candidate to get the job done. I wish the stories were a longer and more flushed out, but that's only because I really did want to know more about these characters and explore a bit deeper into the "trailer hood" life.

If you're not redneck, or have not a single ounce of redneck blood in your veins, you'll still find Tales from the Trailer-hood laugh-out-loud funny. And for the parts that leaving you scratching your head, find a redneck or someone who's lived in a trailer park. They'll translate. No matter your calling in life, no matter the circumstances of your circumstances, Skip Clark's collection of trailer part stories will make you smile. Not only because of the events he recollects but because of the certainty of our own absurdities. After all, there's a little "redneck trailer park" in all of us.

An "OK" book. Humorous on a small scale, but the characters and stories could have been more "fleshed out". I didn't read the entire book, but held onto it as a "go to" for those moments when I just have a few minutes (ie: doctor's waiting room) and want a quick read to fill the time.
