If you like Classic Westerns, grab this one--you won't be sorry (unless you prefer westerns with little or no violence). This one has lots of gun action. As the Title and the book description make clear, this a feud to the last man. The story is easy to follow, the writing is smooth and natural, the bad guys are really bad, but most of the good guys are easily victimized. Characters are reasonably developed. My thanks to the author for a good read and his contributions to the Classic Western Genre.

First of his books I've read but it won't be the last. Van writes like William Johnstone and Elmore. He catches the flavor of the old west and keeps the stories moving.

This is Van Holt at his best! This is a great story about overcoming great odds and defeating terrible characters/outlaws and prevailing in spite of bad odds. Great book!!
