James Schannep is an American novelist and screenwriter who has received numerous awards and placements for his work. His first screenplay was optioned in 2011 and the Click Your Poison series was launched September, 2012 with the flagship book INFECTED. A United States Air Force Academy graduate with a degree in English, Schannep left the service honorably to write full time. Walking Dead meets Gamebooks sorta

My first time reading a James Schannep Book and after this, it most certainly won't be my last. Reminiscent of the early Walking Dead series, it sees you as the protagonist in a world that has been overrun by Zombies brought about by Corporate greed.
Whilst I've only had one read through so far, there appears to be many different storylines in this book which is great for replayability.
Decisions based not just on survival but also on moral and ethical grounds face you as you attempt to survive in the hostile world.
Great storyline, gripping narrative all combine to keep you coming back for more and more.
There are no dice needed for this one and I didn't take any notes but the strength was in the storyline as opposed to the mechanics or difficulty etc.
I will most certainly be back for another read through in the near future and also for more James Schannep books.

Más que un librojuego, se trata, como los libros de ‘Elige tu propia aventura’, de una novela ramificada (eso sí, no para niños, aunque puede ser felizmente disfrutado por el público adolescente y preadolescente). Presenta un buen puñado de alternativas y de posibles historias, así como un humor que hace más ligera la lectura. Leeré más del autor sin duda.

Be a survivor or a zombie and make your way through the post-apocalyptic world - you decide and make your own way!

Like old adventure - paperbacks from the 80ies and 90ies the reader has to make decisions and life with their consequences. The story is told in a fascinating way, the right portion of humor and never gets boring! It's really thrilling to make your own way through this book...again and again, because it's pretty addictive and the re-readability is absolutely high. This book is totally worth reading! I'm looking forward to get more from Mr. Schannep!
