i loved this book, Brooke had been hurt before so didn't trust any cowboys, let alone the handsome coop, but he was different and had to prove it to her, the chemistry between them was sizzling hot, she just couldn't help losing her heart to him, he made her feel special and wanted.

Brooke is a barmaid who's had her heart burned and broken from just the sort of men she is telling Sydney to stay away from. However, that's easier said than done.

Cooper Hays isn't just any cowboy...he's a competitor with the rodeo circuit. But don't you dare dare him. He'll take you up on it...and that could lead to something reckless.

No matter how hard Brooke tries, she can't resist Cooper. Maybe it's because she sees something different in Coop. What sets him apart from all the rest? Is Cooper going to hurt her/break her heart just like all the rest, including her ex-step-father?

Whew! Did it just get HOT in here?

This book wasn't what I thought it was going to be...and I very much liked it. Great storyline...with *gasp* HOT love scenes. A Western/contemporary romance/erotic tale, this one gives a little bit of all three. The love scenes weren't raunchy like you get with some erotica, yet were still hot enough to make you swoon. I was thinking it was just another romance book with a hot guy on the cover...but this one took it up a notch without making it raunchy.

Set in first person point of view, this is a nice light story that you can read in a few hours. I enjoyed it. But then again...I've always been partial to cowboys. *wink* 5 stars!

I really didn't like the style! It wasn't awfully written, but still... You've only got the heroin point of view, using first tense. It felt really heavy! I'm not the kind to put down a book, but I was that close! The characters are easy to like, but the style used spoiled everything!

There's nothing more sweet and romantic than a cowboy who takes you out on a beautiful night to watch the stars on your first date. I don't know about y'all but that's pretty romantic to me. One thing is unsettling though, what if he's just a pscyho killer who's out to murder the heck out of you. Hmm. I guess this is why fiction is better than real life.

On to my review, this is actually my second cowboy-themed love story that I read in one day. Wow! I'm on a roll here folks and somehow I can't stop. The story starts with Brooke meeting Cooper in a bar where she worked before starting her real summer job. For years, Brooke have been through with cowboys. The problem is she's into them and find them most attractive and irresistible that she vowed to stay clear of them. Cooper (the cowboy who's well known for his skills in the rodeo circuit) has other plans in mind and will go to great lengths to prove to Brooke that not all cowboys with big belt buckles and expensive Stetson are the same.

I love stories that involves a driven male to prove his woman wrong that not all of them are a-holes. The story won't bore you to death, it flows continuously with bits and pieces of information slowly blended to it, and not a gush of overwhelming repetitive information like the story I read prior to this.

A good read for a night in, if you fancy something hot and steamy!

Brooke has been burnt in the past by Cowboys, but she just can't help herself where they are concerned. Cooper is everything she is trying to stay away from, tall, dark, and handsome cowboy. He keeps telling her he is different from the others and her heart wants to believe it is true but will she let herself go?

The sex between Cooper and Brooke is great! Coop is a great lead for the book!

I would have given this book 3.5 stars if I could have and the reason for that is at the beginning I found the book a bit tricky to read as the dialogue was written in a confusing manor and you didn't get an introduction to Brooke so you really had no idea who was talking and why. The person that the main character was talking to was referred to as she.

But, I am glad I stuck with it as it was steamy and enjoyable!
