Sweet as honey...

First I have to say that this is not my genre of books. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable story, a sweet romance in Montana, between private cabins and a beautiful landscape.
All people are nice, everybody wants to be friends with everybody; the main characters are young and attractive and full of energy and joy.
Of course there is a happy end,and the bad people get what they deserve.
The language is very (honey) sweet, without bad language (if you can handle "sexy a**").
If you like this contemporary romance stile, you'll probably enjoy the book. it is well written and nothing will disturb even the most sensitive
readers.

MOUNTAIN ANGEL is a standalone read with a happy ever after. No sex scenes or colorful language so any age can read. Set in Northstar, Montana, a very small community hardly accessible by big interstates. Aelissm/Aeli is a very independent, talented, smart, funny young woman. While living in Washington state she was dating a very rich fellow, very ego driven. When she refused to have sex with him he attempted to rape her, brutally. Their mutual friend in another room heard her scream and he came to save her. He sort of snapped when he saw what their friend was doing to her and he chocked him until he fell unconscious. He later died from a blood vessel bursting in his brain. No charges were filed. He sort of lost it and became obsessed with Aeli and felt like he had done it for her and now she belonged to him. She was afraid of him. Her best friend now became her worst nightmare.

She ran to Montana to live with her grandparents to hide. Her uncle is the Sheriff in Washington and he gets one of his friends and a detective to go to Montana and try to find the creep and to protect his niece. So we have two wounded souls running from life and afraid to open up to anyone else.

This is a very good interesting story. They start off trying to help each other and protect her. Of course, there is a happy every after and a very good read. I definitely recommend it.

Warm and witty......

This is a feel good book and I heartily recommend it to every romance reader. The plot is well thought out and keeps you on your toes throughout. The character are wonderfully crafted so that it almost feels like family you're reading about. Often the baggage that characters have to overcome leaves me dead because one or other of the characters appears weak. That didn't happen in this book. The characters were strong even through their personal trials. I fell in love with the characters, it's true, but the feeling I got for Northstar itself transported me and I felt like I knew the place and loved it too.
On a final note, one of my biggest bugbears is the editing....or should I say lack of editing....of books today. This one was well written and edited. There were no sentences I had to read over and over to make sense of them. The spelling and construction were spot on which made my reading experience a true pleasure.
Thank you Suzie O'Connel for a wonderfully warm and exciting book that I know, without a doubt will be read again. Now for the next one.....shame I have to work today, but it is waiting for me to get into once I get home.

This book transported me to a beautiful and peaceful place, which after all is why I read, to escape the busy life. The characters are warm, loving, funny and loyal and the
storyline builds and intensifies so it never lulls. Thoroughly enjoyable and the only downside is that I now yearn for that life. Thank you to the author Suzie. your imagination has taken me from the rat race to the mountains and that is who I would recommend this book to, to all those who enjoy escaping our busy lives whilst reminding us what's important in the real world.
