For me this book was ideal and didn't take long to read either. I'd always wanted to know about clicker training and why doing this can be so useful and the book explained this in a concise manner. I'd say if you are getting a cat or kitten and want to know about successful behaviour training and addressing common problems this is ideal.

It starts with a general overview of cat psychology and some ground rules about cat behavior hence minimizing any problems from the word go.
It then moves onto things like training your cat to use a litter-tray, walk on a lead, stopping biting or scratching the furniture and the usage of a cat flap and clicker.
I like the style of writing here, you're moved in the right direction without too being overloaded with info.
It's a nice pick up and put down kind of e-book that definitely produces some human-feline bonding quickly, you'll find some beautiful photos tucked between the pages too.
Everything you need to know about our furry friends is contained within this e-book so i definitely recommend it to all cat lovers wanting to understand their pet more with a view towards a richer relationship together.

The book opens with a section on cat psychology. It covers the importance of not using punishment in the form of slapping, hitting or yelling at your cat. Instead, it is suggested to leave the cat alone for a period of time or to distract it with something else.
There are also sections covering litter box training, stopping biting and scratching training, staying close to home when outdoors training, walking on a leash training and clicker training. There is even a list of plants that your cat will love. Who knew cats love Mint and Valerian?
Clicker training is something I had never heard of being used for training cats. Essentially, this is teaching your cat to associate a food reward with a clicking sound and then transferring the clicking sound to good behavior and the reward.
There are photo illustrations throughout the book.
This book is useful for helping the first time cat owner train their "little buddy."
