These are short and to the point. Because they're so short, they end rather abruptly leaving the readers to draw their own conclusions - which is clever. No need to be longer. Since there are several stories, it offers some nice variety - Westerns and one Sci-Fi. Well done.

This collection of short stories was very interesting.
However, there are spelling/grammatical mistakes which detract from the book over all.

When I was a kid, Saturday mornings were devoted (entirely) to watching "cowboy" movies on t.v. As reading westerns has never held any interest for me, I don't know why I ordered "A Short Story Longer"...however, I am very glad that I did.

Though short, the stories are well-rounded, well-edited, and clean - easily suitable for young adults.

The real surprise for me was the "bonus" story at the end - and written in my favorite genre!! (I won't reveal what it is so that I don't ruin the surprise for you!!)

This book has been interesting to say the least. Wide variety of reading. You never knew what was coming next. Good for an occasional read but not something you would want on a regular basis. Enjoyed it though.

I don't usually read short stories because when I settle in to read, I want to read for 2 to 3 hours. I'm really glad I made an exception in the case of this fine collection of short stories. The author has delivered several excellent stories written in a totally natural and smooth fashion. I enjoyed each one.
