V. Moua is the author and illustrator of the SAMMY BIRD series. He lives with his wife, three sons and their dog.

About the Sammy Bird Series:

This is a picture book about a quirky bird named Sammy and his amusing misadventures. Sammy is a little red bird with a BIG personality. The books in this series are light-hearted and interactive where Sammy engages in fun and silly conversations with the reader. There are over 200 books in the series!

From The Author:

As parents, my wife and I believe in the importance of reading books to our children. Reading time has always been a special period for our little family to bond. As an author, my goal is to create books that allow other families to laugh and enjoy spending time together as well.

My first book was released in 2015 and as of 2022, I have published over 200 children’s books. My goal is to write over 500 books. I have no idea if I’ll ever reach that goal but it is something worth striving for as long as I continue to enjoy writing and illustrating.
