I woke up this morning and realized I am older because of the date. Yup, it’s my birthday. Yesterday when I woke up I wasn’t older. I was the same age as I was for the past year. Today is different because it’s my birthday. My awesome level is high, so I guess I can’t complain about that, but today is my birthday…hmmmph. I spotted a cake in the refrigerator when I went to get milk for my coffee. For a split second I was happy. Then I realized I would not be able to touch that cake until after dinner tonight. That little fact made me grumpy. I am an adult however, and if I wanted to I could enjoy that cake for breakfast with my baby bassets I can. It’s the bonus of being an adult right? I have to pay taxes, but I can have cake for breakfast….. This just might happen.
